Water Chestnut Pudding

 

Ingredients A

260g water chestnut (peel and dice)

230g sugar

1000ml water

 

Ingredients B

50ml corn oil

120g water chestnut flour

50g corn flour

50g custard powder

50ml evaporated milk

250ml water

 

Method

  1. Mix Ingredients B until well combined (except corn oil)
  2. Boil Ingredients A. Add Ingredients B and mix well. Pour in corn oil last.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 9 inches steaming tray. Steam for 15 minutes. Leave the pudding to cool and chill before serving.
